I established Prowess Properties as I am a strong advocate for empowering women to overcome challenges and improve their personal circumstances. At Prowess Properties we rebuild properties that need renovation or conversion and rent out homes to women who need to rebuild their lives after facing challenges, including widows to suffers of domestic abuse, divorce, refugees and beyond. Properties range from Co-Living Houses of Multiple Occupation, Flats and Houses to provide a range of accommodation. Ideally these will be in close proximity to each other to provide a supportive community for residents. We work closely with Estate Agencies, Local Authorities and Charities directly to rent out property.

The Borage flower within our branding symbolizes courage and bravery alongside harmony and balance. These are the values we want to instil within our homes and the women who live within them.

I have supported women to change their career and life since 2016, when I founded Supermums.org , a global social enterprise which educates and equips women returners with new skills to launch a  well-paid flexible career in the tech industry.  Alongside this venture I have also been a property investor since 2011 when I refurbished my first buy to let property and have since invested in additional properties which have been subject to renovation and modernisation.

My passion for Prowess Properties originated from my own personal experience of becoming a single parent and connecting with other women who were going through divorce, coming out of abusive relationships and experiencing financial hardship. There are many common challenges with social, economic and emotional ramifications which means many single women  are challenged to purchase their own home. It is evident that there a great need to provide good quality rental accommodation with an element of security and peer support to help women rebuild their lives. 

I realised I could combine my passions and make a difference with Prowess Properties. My mission is to expand our property portfolio and provide an array of great homes for women working with a Circle of Friends. To achieve this I am part of the Fielding Financial Education Programme and Family and I am building the Prowess Circle of Friends who provide advice, collaborate and support the venture.
